Call me old-fashioned and not with the times, after all, I AM!!!!!!!!, but all that "cool" stuffs simply renders a picture to a lower quality. Why?

It drags down the site, or at least my browser. Now mind you, you rich guys with your all powerful, la-*test*-('") and grea-*test*-('") computers won't notice this. Out here in the world I'm forced to live in, with my 6 or so year old computer, I do.
Photobucket did load slightly faster today, but then, I reduced my photos to less than a third. Scrolling is impossible, it's just jumps, starts, and stops, as my computer tries to deal with all the crap. Linux is a wonderful thing, for without it, I couldn't compute at all, but it can only do so much.
But, crap is what the public wants, just like it wants 27 cupholders and heated break pedals in their cars. Yeah, I've always been in the minority when it comes to what comes out of Detroit too.
Thank you for the
