Thanks everybody and thanks Sarge... where r u located out of curiosity.

Remember--a Wheel Horse is truly never dead....as long as tools, parts and spirit are available they will all continue to fight on. Why couldn't this have happened to a JD or a Cub... unsure.gif

Sorry to hear / see that, Tony. sad.gif

I don't have any 1054 parts on my pile, but I'll keep my eyes open.

Just remember you HAVE to cut that tree up and burn it now..... even if you don't have a wood stove!

Sparky- 10-25-2008
TT, guess what? Tony just had a brandy new wood stove installed a couple weeks ago biggrin.gif . Guess its gonna get a workout.

Boy this is a shame! At least no one was hurt. whtractor/thumbsup2.gif But now back to the dilema at hand. Restoring 1054 with this kind of injury is going to take bit of time and conecctions for parts. I have found at least one add for compete tractor that could be a parts donor. Below is the link to the add. Another link is for the front axle listed on Eb@y. This part is at Joes Out Door Sho and maybe he will have additional parts needed for this restoration? Maybe this will help?

Tony sorry to see that happen, but glad to hear you have intentions of bringing it back to life.
I too will keep my eye's open for a trans.

whtractor/omg.gif I can't believe it!!! A direct hit!! Sounds fishy! Is there a deere or crapsman lover near you? lololol!!! (sorry sparky...couldn't resist). I feel for you! Never good to loose personal property, but a member of the family... Good luck on the rebuild whtractor/thumbsup.gif

jschahl- 10-25-2008
Tony... Dude that sucks! ohmy.gif I have no doubt she'll live again. whtractor/thumbsup.gif

And Sarge... I've been through Ohio about a billion times. (ok, maybe exaggerating just a hair!) My wife is from Dixon and we lived around Peoria for five years. Another RS member, "Stevinator", is from Dixon.

CHARGER9AUTO- 10-25-2008

Hey Burly!...Here's the right size lug tires you're looking for! And already mounted! whtractor/hide.gif

There is some serious damage to this old girl, but with patience and determination, she will again be pulling loads.

Duff- 10-25-2008
Man, any remorse I was feeling about losing the 312A on an eBay bid just completely evaporated. I can only imagine what you and the family are feeling right now. And like the rest of the guys, I am thankful beyond words that noone was hurt.

I'm confident your machine will rise again - just like the Phoenix of mythology.

Chin up!
