I searched all of Ebay and couldn't find it. Got the link?

Jim_M- 11-12-2008
I'll be darned if I can find it now. I know it was on there Sunday afternoon because I was contemplating buying it but the shipping was $135.00.

I contacted the owner through Craigslist and bought it. I figure it's my best chance to find a decent K91. The electric start will make a nice addition on one of my RJ58s whtractor/thumbsup.gif .

Well guys, I really hate to burst your bubble but, I know the guy that lives out there in that sunny state of California somewhere near Riverside, that ended up buying that motor. Sorry Burly!!

bwmarian- 11-12-2008
I went up to Glendora (40 miles from me) and looked at this engine last night. It is a battery ignition so it does not have the mag like the K91's used on the Wheel Horse tractors. I wonder if it is going to fit on a RJ or Suburban, the starter generator takes up a lot of space. So all I need is the magneto coils, the correct flywheel with magnets, the new shroud with holes for a recoil start and a the recoil starter.

The interesting thing is the starter generator is shorter than the one on my 1045 by about 5/8 of a inch. It was too dark to check the starter generator on my 867 so I will measure it tomorrow.

If someone needs it I have a k91 with reduction that I would part with. It ran when i tried it out and Ive been told you can swap out the crank to swap it over to standard. whtractor/dunno.gif

Hey Bruce, Took ya long enough to post for the first time. Or is it Brian. whtractor/yankchain[1].gif smile.gif

Duane It was a friend of mine and many others here in the Wheel Horse collectors field. He posted directly after I did and his name Is Bruce from Riverside, Calif. And as Nick has said he has finally made his first post. I guess you should probably welcome Bruce to Red Square. I do believe that Bruce has a pretty nice colection of horses hiding out ther in Southern Calif. Maybe at some point we can persuade him into posting some pictures as I know that he also belongs to the Big Group and has been to the show in Pa. I am pretty sure that I am not the only person that talks with Bruce. Welcome to the Square Bruce!!! John whtractor/welcomers.gif

I am pretty sure that I am not the only person that talks with Bruce.

Most of us quit talking to Bruce when he won most of the raffle prizes at the show two years ago. whtractor/disgust[1].gif We talked at him whtractor/ranting3.gif , and about him whtractor/rant2.gif , but not to him whtractor/yankchain[1].gif
