Engine is a short- blocked replacement from my L157. I have no idea where the blue paint came from, but there's some on the frame as well.
Just the engine is for sale:
Just to check the engine out, I placed a Kohler carb on it. I runs very well, and doesn't smoke. (I think it did for a second or two the first time I cranked it, but not since) I will be selling the whole unit- All the wiring included. As a friend called it, it will be "plug and play".
I will put the original carb back on it, and I am keeping the fuel tank. I have never done much with Teccys, so I don't know whether it just needs a kit or not. It would NOT crank with the original carb on it, but cranks on the first or second try with the Kohler.
The only reason I'm selling it is because my Ranger got a heart transplant last week in the form of a K181. Now all my older tractors are Kohler powered.
I figured someone would want it since Teccy is going away...
$75 and shipping takes it.
