Looks white trash doesnt it? ive actually spent most of the summer getting rid of that stuff.

refracman- 11-01-2008
Well, Ive been to Stephens place and alltough packed cant really call it messy. Been to Nicks and another packed garage still not messy. I would have to say Dukes is messy but still useable.
But John's is messy and unuseable. Cant even call it a garage as there is to much stuff every where and every where too much stuff, its stacked up to ceiling and unorginized. I can say this as Ive been it and almost got lost whtractor/omg.gif not once but a couple of times and its only a 24 x 20 and the garage door was open
help.gif laughter.gif.
I do like to have stuff orginized, mostly cause I forget where I put stuff and I do hate working in a mess. ( note to self theres a couple of leafs that blew in must sweep ) but I'm not O. C. about it ( must sweep) really I'm not.( MUST sweep) laughter.gif

Not even close, Duke. I can still see the floor. whtractor/whistling2.gif

May have cost myself the title because I did clean the garage a couple times this summer. Must have hauled around 1,000 pounds of scrap plus another 10 or 12 bags of junk out for garbage. But I think the workbench alone should be worth bonus points. wacko.gif

Also have a video tour smile.gif Messy garage video link

simpleman- 11-02-2008
omg!

Jim_M- 11-02-2008
I should have taken a picture of my garage before I cleaned it out this summer. I would have won hands down. I had a car and a truck in there that you couldn't even get to.
A couple of you guys were in there and know what I'm talking about.
I'm pretty proud of myself now, you can walk around evrything and get to everything now.

Brrly1- 11-02-2008
Nope !!! You guys can't even touch this!! And no I am not proud of it either but it is basically a disaster area. Maybe I can have it proclaimed that way and get some federal help for another garage or addition to this one? Isn't daydreaming just so special. Well I will go out open garage and snap a picture and really hope that you guys are sitting down when you look at these because you will undoubtly will fall over laughing. See Ya Bye Burly help.gif help.gif help.gif

Well whtractor/disgust[1].gif Mr. Nick just had to go and out do me didn't you! whtractor/thumbsup.gif I see you have some nice equipment in your garage! I see Ya have that JET Wet bandsaw which is just like my ACRA I just bought one used for $ 250.00 from aguy who started a machine shop and went belly up. And I also spy I think which is Lincoln 255 with digital adjustments, I have have the standard model but added a stitch control panel and also purchased a Lincoln Square Wave 175 Tig Machine and built my own cart with dual bottles and stacked the machines for less footprint space in the garage! whtractor/thumbsup.gif GIVES ME MORE FLOOR SPACE TO STORE MORE JUNK AND MAKE MORE OF A MESS!! laughter.gif Anyways I conceede you got me beat!!! whtractor/not_worthy.gif

Cheers Duke

Duke... seeing as that your soo short on space... Ill come get that saw and the welders to free up a bit of room for ya! Just think of how much extra room thatd give ya

tickster- 11-02-2008
Scott I've been there & I don't think it be enough. whtractor/whistling2.gif

Guys since this thread has merged from an idea for a "garage area on RS" to a full blown thread with pics & some great chatter...I figured I'd move it to the non tractor discussion area.
Hope no one minds & lets keep the pics & comments comeing.

Scott I'll try & return your initial sugestion to the right area & hopefully Karl or Chris & the other mods will like it. whtractor/thumbsup.gif

Well Nick has got my juices flowing on some of the stuff he has built aka: The loader and things, I have yet to lay a spot weld on anything so far but am fixing too! I have a tube of silicone bronze wire that may be in order to fix that 701 hood that will work great with the Tig Welder whtractor/dunno.gif too many ponies here need a face lift and they may get mad at ya if I take their HORSEFIXIN tools away! laugh.gif

Duke, The welder and saw are both my brothers. We bought him the 64.5" standard bandsaw for his birthday (always buy gifts you can use smile.gif ). The welder is a Miller 255 that he got to do a welding job then I got it to use after that. The unheated garage and my cats have done a number on the paint. I can put in pictures of what stray cats do in a garage for more bonus points. whtractor/hide.gif Also have the old Sears stick welder Ive never learned to use. Have not tried in years so should give it another go for the heavy jobs.
