My raider 12 has turf tires on the front. My manual shows sawtooth, as the originals.I cant locate any sawtooth in the right size, aparently because they are no longer made.I have seen several pics. of horses with three ribs on the front, and like the way they look.I was hoping someone could tell me where to get a set for 8 inch rims. the original size for my 12 is 16x5.5x8,is the three rib available in that size or very close to it. Thanks for any help I can get, Brian help.gif

I may be wrong, but I think the originals were Wheel Horse branded. I don't know who actually made them.

You might look through the sites listed in our links section.

Try these guys. They have most in stock and travel to a lot of tractor shows around the Mi/In/Oh area.

A few years back I bought a couple sets of 3 ribs tires from Tucker tires on ebay. fast shipping and they throw in tubes to help mount them. Just looked and they sell a set with tubes for $52 + $15 shipping.

Forgot to mention they list them as Cub Cadet tires. whtractor/hide.gif

If you want to stay with the original look of the sawtooth pattern there is a trailer 16x6.50x8 available in a 4 ply with a high pressure rating , very close to your original tires . I opted to put the 4.80-8 narrow style ags on the front of my 1277, looks pretty good albeit a bit different and probably should have used the wider 6.50 in the front in comparison with the 8.50 rears .

Not sure why but it just came to me that Steve had mentioned Miller tire because they sell the wider 3 rib tires. They are a bit pricey, $140 a set, so I didnt give them a thought. Over $52 for the set of 4-8 3 ribs was plenty high for me. whtractor/hide.gif

Sarge, The 4.80x8 ag tires look good on the front. whtractor/thumbsup.gif

Just hit me who had a set of the wide Miller Tire 3 ribs. It was Kevin. whtractor/imstupid.gif They would fit and look nice on a 520.

I really appreciate all the input. It has narrowed down my search considerably. I wasn't having any luck on my own.I do like the way, some I've seen, look with the ags on front.I have been using mine to mow and till, and a little bit of grading. I hope to get a snowblower soon if the ex would quit forcing me to get an attourney every six months. but thats another story.I have really enjoyed having my horse this year. I almost let it get away. My father in law just wanted it out of his barn, and said if I didnt take it he was hauling it to scrap. After setting for 12 years I changed the gas and oil,new battery, crank for a few minutes and fired right up.The tractor just needs a paint job to freshen it up. And again , Thanks for all the replies
