Seems to be a nice machine, BUT-

Awful lot of publicity for a lawnmower.... whtractor/hide.gif

Awful lot of publicity for a lawnmower.

Willie is a part owner/shareholder in the Corp. Probably called in some favors to get some of the others.... whtractor/popcorn.gif

My father inlaw just bought one of these.
I have known them "the inlaws" about 7 years now & they have a 5 acre lawn.
They have always used a pair of Ranch Kings with 50" decks for there mowing all those years prior to the BB.
Him & his wife would spend day & then some to mow it all.
Now that he has the BB with a 60" cut he can do it in 4 hours! whtractor/omg.gif
I'd say thats typical of that size Z turn?
The verdicts still out on how it will last....I advised him to get a Scag or Exmark.

Stephen,
From what I heard they're good mowers. Myself, I would have went with a JD commercial unit first whtractor/hide.gif , then maybe a Hustler or a Scag, then Exmark or a Toro. Of course there are a lot of units out there to consider as there are more commercial Z's than I can remember. Others are Great Dane, Everride, Ferris, Ryan, Bobcat, Encore, Dixon, Walker, Wright, Kubota, New Holland (I think a Toro clone), Snapper, Simplicity...... whtractor/omg.gif

I noticed the bad boys at TSC a while back. TSC link Does look like they are pushing all the stars.

Stephen, Mowing time would vary by the yard but a Toro Z with 60" deck is rated around 4 to 6 acres an hour. You do notice a lot of older people out mowing on zero turns at about 2 mph. smile.gif But zero turns are easy to get on and off plus easy to drive after they get use to them.

Terry he bought his through TSC like Nick commented.
My issue is TSC does not service them....the nearest BB dealer to work on them is an hour drive.

We do have Scag & Exmark dealers that are local too.

I don't know....maybe his model is residential & not commercial...seems like the tires are pretty small compared to other 60" sized Z turns & rides ruffer?
As long as he's happy with it... whtractor/thumbsup.gif

And Nick...if my FIL would stop planting pine trees & bushes he could probably mow it in an hour.
With all the trimming they have to do now...I think I'd get dizzy on a Z & need one of these helmetsmiley.png
