Personally, I prefer to run molasses in my machines. I once say a demo on one kind of oil versus another. Two sets of plastic gears in a small display. Crank the handle to turn the gears, the bottom one of which dipped in oil, which in turn worked it's way to the top.

The cheap stuff didn't trail to the top near as quickly as the good stuff.

I made a comment, to which the guy behind the counter responded, "Replace the cheap stuff with molasses, and it'll beat the good stuff"

I've ran molasses in all my machines every since........................

Dale Is that the Quaker State molasses or the Valvoline stuff. I actually have 10w30 Amsoil in my dads GT14. It seems to do a good job so far. I have been using for about 6 yrs now. No complaint's here. Burly whtractor/thumbsup2.gif whtractor/thumbsup2.gif

Not only does it make 'em run sweet, they smell that way too.

John, manufacturer is irrelevant. It's all in the base material used.....
