I've been trying to get in touch with Joel regarding some V series that he was interested in that I have. I don't really know him other then from email and must say that this doesn't seem to be the modus operandi of any of the members here. I just hope that he is ok and nothing bad has happened.

Guys, I don't want to stir up any stuff, but I think this is all a moot point.

Last time I talked to TT, nobody had contacted him yet, not even Mike. I think it's only fair that TT claim ownership after all this time.
Whoever owns (owned) it should try to get their money from Joel. Yes, Joel is ok (according to Ken), but is claiming "busy" as the excuse to never return anyone's calls or emails.

I really don't want to butt in here, as I don't know the whole story - from any side. But, I do know that Joel hasn't logged into the site in several weeks. Also I have heard that the email address listed is no longer valid. Same for his phone number. So any attempts to contact him via email or phone will not reach him. I do know he has change jobs, has been working extended long hours.

Again, I don't know the whole story and I'm not discounting the anguish all parties here are experiencing. But, as we all know, life gets into the way of some of our hobbies and pursuits. Please give Joel the benefit of the doubt here. That's all I'm saying.

All I know is this: I talked to Ken on the phone about a week (maybe 2 now) ago, and he told me he had just gotten off the phone with Joel. So, the point is, Joel has "A" phone that works, and he knows that people are trying to reach him. We can go all the way back to the beginning of October (the "N"th time he was supposed to show up) and there was no contact from him then either about not being able to make it.
A few simple phone calls months ago could have fixed all of this, but it didn't happen.
We can go further back, to the show in June. Several members here (including me) hauled tractors and parts there that he was going to pay for and pick up. He was also supposed to deliver parts to many members here (including me). None of that happened either.

On another front, he still owes me the shipping money (that I paid out of my pocket) for his snow cab that he was quick to post and brag about.

This whole fiasco is the main reason that I demoted him from mod. That in turn got me demoted. Yeah, I'm maybe just a little invested in this situation.
Sorry for the rant, but I needed to get it off my chest.

i have nothing at all to do with this but as T-MO said sometimes real life does get in the way of our playtime and we all know (or at least we should) what takes presidence.im not trying to excuse actions or belittle what people are feeling hear but i do think we should find out for sure what is going on with him before we say or imply anything we might regret later.i know here at home playtime comes after my family,work and any other real life that needs to be taken care of.

I am closing this thread, I'm sorry for the parties involved that things did not work out.
