E-Bay has a 420 SLE and the seller says it only has 7 hours on it. Not sure how to put a link on here but Im sure that if you want to look at it you will find it.

Ebay link Nice looking machine. Wonder where the chrome deck wheels went? whtractor/scratchhead.gif The other parts look like their still there. (Hard to tell... there were more than 80 parts chromed on this model)

What I've lost this week in my 401K would have easily bid this thing right into my garage. whtractor/banghead.gif Sigh......the ULTIMATE maroon stripe. whtractor/not_worthy.gif

It looks like John has an answer to to his question from the seller on the chrome deck wheels. Here's the question and answer:

Q: Hello Could you please tell us where the chrome deck wheels have gone too. Thanks John Oct-10-08
A: The original deck was sold off the tractor, and it was delivered with this deck. Thanks Jim

T-Mo You are just too quick! Personally myself I believe this guys reserve is probably way out of site. Especially when he can put what it retailed for. My guess would probably be over $3500. Oh yeah to all you guys bidding on this tractor GOOD LUCK!!! Everyone have a good day. Burly

Along the lines of the recent "collecting" and "price" topics, if I had the reserve price available to spend on this machine, I'd spend it without a lick of guilt. A 420-LSE in this condition is a machine I'd love to own regardless of wether I could ever get my money back out of it. These machines are a thing of beauty to me. Their low production number and historical signifigance certainly merit a higher price than any average production model.

And yes I would garage it and wipe it with a diaper! whtractor/thumbsup.gif
