I have a 417-A that I bought for parts- it has a broken rod, and has some parts missing. I am disassembling the engine, for any good parts on it. I do not have a 17 horse Kohler, so I don't have any attachment to the parts. If anyone needs something, let me know. I don't know yet what the crank, block, etc. looks like yet, but the heads, carb/intake, etc. seem fine.
I bought it with the starter, aircleaner, exhaust manifold, sheetmetal, and a few other particulars missing.
